Bulletin – Total War: Warhammer II

SEGA Europe Ltd has announced the impending release of the next chapter in Creative Assembly’s celebrated Total War: Warhammer series of video games. Keeping focus on expanding The Old World of Warhammer’s past – the new game introduces four new races to the franchise and promises some exciting new expansions to the original game.

Set in the New World, players will now be able to engage in a brand new campaign as either High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen or a yet-to-be-announced faction (although the trailer drops a pretty obvious hint about that one). The story centres around the ailing Great Vortex, providing the factions with far more than just territory to fight over.

Not content to simply make a new game with new options, SEGA have announced that a free update will be available for owners of the original game shortly after release. This update features a massive combined campaign map covering the old and new world regions, promising an awesome experience for those who own both Total War: WARHAMMER I & II.

Dark-Elf

“..Total War: WARHAMMER II represents the next step in our trilogy, our vision for the most incredible fantasy strategy series ever made…”

“…The success of the first game has increased our ambition; we’re not only going to deliver a thrilling campaign in the sequel, but also an additional combined campaign, the biggest so far, for owners of both…”

Ian Roxburgh – Game Director, Total War: Warhammer II

Lizardmen

Pretty exciting stuff! You can already put the game on your Steam wishlist today or get started early with Total War: Warhammer which is available now.
